From Cartagena, on Easter Sunday, we went by bus (18 PLN, 3 h) to the next village, overlooking the Caribbean - Barranquilla. From the station we drove a taxi to the hostel in the center. When the taxi stopped in front of the hostel, we asked him only one question - "But where is the center?". The area was dark, ugly and looked very dangerous. In response, we heard that here ... We asked for short obwiezienie the area, and we made quick decisions about an immediate return to the bus station, lest the same day to go to Tagangi (2h, 15 PLN) ... Barranquila is famous in Colombia of two things - here in January, is organized very big carnival, according to some more interesting than This in Rio, and second - was born here most famous Colombian - Shakira! Unfortunately, none of the above is not given to us was to watch. From the station the next bus we went to the next seaside village - Santa Marta. In addition to Santa Marta is a small fishing village - Taganga, which has at most a few thousand inhabitants, it was our goal. There is no hotel that would have three stars or more. But the place is supposedly the last few years main point for many backpackers tours - there are cheap, is here nicely, here is a quiet, away from the hustle and bustle, the village has a fantastic atmosphere and a few nice hostels. Taganga is separated from the Santa Marta a small hill (taxi with MS for 18 PLN, PLN bus 1.7), lies on the tranquil bay, surrounded on all sides by mountains. The sea temperature is 24 degrees, on a beach with palm trees, are cafes, restaurants and delicious fruit juice! Several pubs and discos and street artists (jugglers, musicians, dancers, fire, gymnasts, etc.) provide nightly entertainment. Word - the perfect place for lazy (tired?) Tourists in what is probably in August last (unfortunately?) Exchanged ... We got to the hostel, La Casa de Felipe. This is the best hostel I have ever slept. Located on a hill overlooking the Taganga, sea and sunsets. With a very quiet rooms, with shutters (mosquitoes are, unfortunately), decorated in a great Caribbean style (hanging fruit, colorful hammocks, sculptures of parrots and other stylish, not kitsch decorations). For this the hostel Restaurant is excellent, the speakers doing the evenings chill-outs a player, they are cool people, refrigerator with beer and cola bought the book (anywhere with that previously did not met) - no it's just perfect. Nothing, just lying around in a hammock, eat a delicious steak and a fish from the grill and watch the sunsets. And all for 38 PLN per day (seems to be similar or slightly less expensive night in a tent in the huts).

After the initial selection (-70%) in the first 4 days in Tagandze (area) is the 160, but back in August, and so anyone of you probably will not want to watch, so I still have it filter out sharply.
