completed the trip in Puerto Ayora on Santa Cruz. For about 2 hours we were looking for the hostel - it was hard to find something cheap and clean. The best option seemed to be hostel Sir Francis Drake, who recommend ($ 20 per night in a room with air conditioning). The next day we had in three things - knowledge of Puerto Ayora, visiting the Science Center to them. Darwin and Las Grietas.
In Puerto Ayora are two ports - a tourist - in which boats are moored and the "ferry" Floating in the surrounding islands and the second - for use by the local population, fishing and private motorboats. On the way to the center of Darwin we got to the second port. There is a small central square fish - that is, on top where you cut a freshly imported fish and the place is packed and sold or exported. - Lonely George , the last living representative of one of the species turtle giants is likely to have well over 200 years, but there is no scientific methods in order to estimate. George did not see, he had to hide in the bushes somewhere. By the way it has very interesting stories - many decades scientists have been trying to find him a partner, in order to preserve its species, but they fail to it. The Galapagos in August tells a lot of funny little jokes about George lonely, like the one that George shoots blanks. George also appears in the names of hostels, travel agencies and venues, as well as on T-shirts, mugs, etc. In any case, George has screwed - it's terrible to know that the whole world is not your other half ...

This photograph is unique on a global scale;) because turtles live ostetnich six giants of the genre. And how much noise they do - sob creaks beat their shells ... Darwin says that is all to sustain the species, but probably did not see them in action - they surely are also in the excitement! ;)
Later we moved in the direction of Las Grietas. To go there, you need to take a taxi at the port of water (0.6 USD) and przeprawic to the other side port, thence runs quite an interesting 800-meter track (large volcanic stones, you need good footwear), the leading inter alia, by beaches and marshes, and on to Las Grietas.
The port looked like a storm.
Las Grietas are several dozen slot in the volcanic rocks, to which gets the water - with one hand, sea, filtered through the rocks, on the other hand rainwater. Both water have different density and color and do not mingle with each other. This phenomenon is called the blackish water. Apparently clearly visible boundary between the layers, but unfortunately I had with each other to dive mask, and it was very deep.
